Yen Kai has more than 20 years of training and facilitation experience with social sectors and corporate and government bodies. He has been running his own training company since 2006, and his forte sits solidly in the domain of facilitation for Strategic Planning, Teambuilding, Focus Group Discussion, Group Development, and Public Engagements.
He is a Certified Action Learning Coach with the World Institute of Action Learning (WIAL, USA) and a Certified Professional Facilitator with the International Association of Facilitators (IAF, USA). As an AL Coach, he works with the team to develop leadership competencies while solving real-life problems simultaneously. As a Process Facilitator, he facilitates the discussion among management teams and the whole organization as part of the Strategic Planning and VMV Process.
In 2018, Yen Kai moved into the field of Organization Development (OD) to deepen his practice. He graduated from 25 days International Gestalt Organization & Leadership Development Program (iGOLD), which spanned over two years. He also completed 6 modules of OD programme and graduated with Organization Development Certification Programme (ODCP, NTL Europe).
After searching for various recognized coaching organizations, Yen Kai chose to embark on Integral Coaching Certification. He has been coaching clients using a combination of NLP, Gestalt, Ontology, and Action Learning since 2010. In 2021, he decided to acquire a formal certification through ICF.
