Comments from our Past Participants
It’s a workshop suitable for corporate as well as for anyone who is keen to lead a group. This group can be social or voluntary too. These skills are applicable for any leaders who want to practise being mindful in front of their team to enable engaging and meaningful conversations to take place. I plan to use the skills in a few voluntary groups that I am privileged to be part of.

I highly recommend attending this fun and engaging workshop to learn about designing a training session, get practical tips on being a trainer, and connect with like-minded people who are interested in making learning engaging and fun! A good mix of teaching of concepts with live demonstration and sharing by Yen Kai on the concepts thought.

It’s a great workshop to build and sharpen facilitation skills and design. I would recommend it to people who are new and have some experience in facilitating.

This workshop is designed for trainers and facilitators who want to increase the engagement and impact of their session.
If you are very new to the delivery of workshops, this workshop can be overwhelming for you.
This workshop suits trainers and facilitators with at least 2-3 years of stand-up delivery experience to very experienced trainers and facilitators.
Day 1 of the programme is dedicated to experiencing key pieces of the workshop where you will be participants while our trainer role models all the skills and concepts.
Day 2 and Day 3 allow each participant to integrate skills and concepts covered into their workshop delivery. These two days are also more emergent, skills and contents covered depend on what would be relevant and useful.
"If facilitation doesn’t come naturally to you, attend Power-To-Train as it is codified common sense. Even for seasoned practitioners, it provides a framework to easily describe and teach your skills to others, multiplying the impact you can make."
Xinyi - UX Designer
"A must-have to go through if facilitators want to bring their facilitation to the next level. Perhaps a little too advanced for new/less seasoned trainers."

"Techniques that can be used in facilitating a workshop/training. Understanding the various frameworks that can be adopted in the planning and preparation of the workshop, while also learning to deal with the emergent during the facilitation itself."
Chong Yan Bing, MSF
"Yen Kai is very very skilled and experienced at what he do. I really enjoyed the teaching style where he gave us enough resources to do our own presentations then provide us feedback and teachings after. It made something really difficult to understand more manageable. Yen Kai also observes and listens actively to provide us targeted feedback, ensuring that we're still with him throughout the class. He is also really funny :) and patient. I've never met a trainer like him and would love to attend his other workshops too!"
Jing Xuan, Woodlandshealth Pte Ltd
"My key takeaway from Yen Kai was experiencing how he used himself as a tool, involving the learners, showing us instead of telling us. He also created great buy-in for us to learn the various content, and treated us as fully capable learners."
